All vertebrates and invertebrates are known to have an ECS and the Endocannacinoid System is very important to us as it helps to fine-tune most of our vital physiological functions and is found throughout the brain and nervous system. It acts a bit like a conductor in an orchestra and it promotes homeostasis, affecting everything from sleep, memory, appetite, mood, pain, inflammation, and even reproduction. So in simple terms, the ECS helps regulate the body across all major body systems ensuring that everything works in concert with one another. Most people are unaware that the human body has its own system for processing and even creating its own cannabinoids.
The most well known Cannabinoids are CBD and THC but there are more.
The ECS is made up of three parts:
- Endocannabinoids - these are natural cannabinoids that your body produces all on its own.
- Receptors in the nervous system and around your body that endocannabinoids and cannabinoids bond with.
- Enzymes that help break down endocannabinoids and cannabinoids.
Not only is the ECS a natural part of our bodies, it's a crucial one and if your body is not producing enough endocannabinoids then you can sometimes supplement the deficiency.
Start Small! Over dosing, although wont hurt you, will not be as effective as starting small and working up to the right dose.
Start with 1 drop 3 times a day
Increase by 1 drop per dose every 4 days/week until you have reached YOUR Sweet Spot.
Your Sweet Spot
Everyone's body is different and everyone's sweet spot is different. Start small and build up your dosage until the next increase does not change or help you. Then you know that the dose before is your sweet spot. Keeping a diary of your mood, pain, etc may help you to determine when you reach that point. Don't forget to monitor and access yourself regularly as things change and develop and you many need to reassess your Sweet Spot.
How long will it take to work?
Everybody is different and take/use CBD for different reasons. Don't expect an instant change but monitor yourself as you are increasing your dosage until you find what works for you. It takes time to find a good balance.
What Product should I use?
This is trial and error. We would recommend that you start with a good quality oil and add to it with salves, tea and vaping if you need the extra instant hit. If you are unsure then please feel free to contact me directly on firstname.lastname@example.org
Who can tell me what I should be using?
Unfortunately nobody can advise you on which products to use. At present we are not allowed to discuss the benefits of CBD in relation to illnesses or treat them as remedies. I would suggest looking up CBD on the internet and doing a little research. There are plenty of articles about the subject and groups on Facebook that discuss CBD openly.
Is CBD Oil Legal?
Yes CBD is Legal. THC is the element that has not been legalised although trace amounts in Full Spectrum CBD Oil are allowed (up to 0.02%) and are beneficial in aiding the CBD to work to its full potential. The Entourage Effect.
How do I know if I am buying a good brand?
You need to check what you are buying. Are you buying CBD or hemp seed oil? There is a difference. Hemp Seed Oil is a good supplement and a great carrier for CBD but they are different products. Check with the company if you are unsure and ask if you can see their Third Party testing for your bottle.
We do have third party testing certificates for our products, if you would like to see them please contact me directly at email@example.com
